About FDC Logistics

From its humble beginning in 1993, Filstar retains the honor of being the exclusive Philippine distributor of Hallmark USA, Bic Stationery, Lighters and Shavers, Disney Art Attack, and Craft Easy, with majority of its products present in varied channels of distribution reaching over 5,800 outlets from bookstores, supermarkets, convenient stores to department stores and hypermarts. It is our goal to maximize this distribution network, and become a leading logistics service provider in the country.

1. Freight transport

Our company's constant growing fleet is currently comprised of the following long and short haul trucks, which enables the business to move high volumes of cargo to given points within Luzon listed below.

Service units:

  • 4 wheeler canter closed van with 10cbm load capacity
  • 4 wheeler L300 closed van with 6cbm load capacity
  • 6 wheeler closed van with 30cbm load capacity

2. Technology usage for best daily performance results

  • LTE enabled tablets are used to download current information over the internet for complete shipping manifest and delivery routes of our different trucks;
  • 2D / 1D / QR barcodes, symbologies and RFID / NFC communication protocols are used in our daily validation flows;
  • GPS tracking and fleet monitoring are constantly monitored from the head office
  • 2-way-radios between sales personnel, warehouse assistants and trucks drivers to ensure quick response which cannot be achieved thru regular cellphone.
  • Auto-text and auto-email are used to give our customers an update regarding their shipment cargo location.
  • Auto-email (to customers) of pictures as proof that shipment was received with person, date and time stamped.
